The Summit on Race and Equity: A Call to Government and Community
VeraCloud was invited to participate in The Summit on Race and Equity: A Call to Government and Community at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, held this week to launch an inclusive, cross-sector regional Northeast network to advance racial equity and ensure opportunities for all.
We're excited to be engaged with this motivated and expert group of community-based organizations, government, and business leaders committed to transformation and equity. We are pleased that the City of Boston has joined this national movement, championed by the Government Alliance on Race and Equity, to ensure that policies and practices that impact communities are more just and equitable.
VeraCloud is eager to work with like-minded partners to use our tools that enable Minority, Women, Disadvantaged, and Veteran-owned businesses to pursue economic opportunities by accessing the $500B+ US public sector contracting marketplace. As one of very few private sector companies at the Summit, we see a need and opportunity to deliver sustainable, scalable technology solutions for resolving structural outages in the market. Following up on this conference, we're actively engaged with private contractors, governments, elected and appointed public officials, foundations, nonprofits, and philanthropies in Boston to tangibly advance progress on critical marketplace issues, including diversity, access, financial inclusion, economic opportunity, and ongoing support for diverse businesses across the city, state, and the US.
The Government Alliance on Race and Equity is a national network working to achieve racial equity and advance opportunities for all by making commitments to achieving racial equity, focusing on the power and influence of community institutions, and developing collaborative partnerships.
